I’ll admit I was running low on Christmas spirit this year, after a close friend of ours passed away, but in the end, the spirit caught up with me. The tree was beautiful, the shopping wasn’t that stressful and Santa did very well.
So after tradgedy and stress (my neighbor and friend is getting divorced and she’s moved back to Texas with the kids, our washing machine went caput and Sears is refusing to honor the warranty, we had houseguests in the middle of this mayhem, and money is always an issue around the holidays) it all worked out for the best.
In the end, I learned something! Making sure my kids have a wonderful Christmas is what makes me have a wonderful Christmas!
