Sickened

It’s official, I’m sick.
It’s that sickness that comes when Winter finally relents to Spring. The temperature rises and faced with the sudden change, the body reacts violently…well mine does. Sadly, I believe I have passed that to at least one of my kids. Patient zero (my four-year-old) is on the upswing since he’s now handed over the germs to me. My six-year-old will be the next to sucumb to this Spring Fever because I spotted them sharing yogurt yesterday, using the same spoon. I really shouldn’t have let that one get by me but in my defense, I was a bit feverish at the time. No time to celebrate the fact that these two sworn enemies actually shared with each other, just looking forward to yet another sick kid.
I’ve decided to start Spring Cleaning early. I’m hoping to kill the germs we’re swapping and prevent the onset of a second round of this illness. If my four-year-old gets it a second time, it will likely turn into pnemonia…he tends to do that…and thats the last thing we need!
